Dogs and puppies are individually boarded, except when owners specifically request that their personal dogs or puppies be boarded together. Special Care Dog Boarding shares the same theory as kennel training, which is recommended by veterinarians and dog trainers as the most positive and effective way to manage puppies or dogs. When applied in a kennel environment, the benefits are outstanding! We board all ages of dogs and puppies and we also provide daycare.

We begin with clean and secure accommodations. Then we add around-the-clock care. Dogs are never left unattended on the premises. Scheduled feedings and exercise maintain good housebreaking habits. Dogs stay much cleaner. Most importantly, Special Care Dog Boarding affords extra attention by providing frequent visits for individual care. Bonding is promoted and dogs settle-in faster for a more comfortable stay.  

Indoor-boarding greatly reduces the stress that dogs could otherwise suffer under traditional boarding methods. Dogs are not left in outdoor-runs to bark and run in their mess throughout the day. There is far less chance of dogs experiencing loss of appetite or weight, sore or infected paws, hoarseness from barking or the presence of blood in the urine or stool. The possibility of a dog being injured by another is virtually eliminated. Our experience has proven that traditional boarding methods are less than adequate for most dogs and traumatic for too many.

Special Care Dog Boarding can be tailored to accommodate all dogs from puppies to seniors. We’ll walk, train, groom, or even play fetch with your dog. If your dog requires medication to be administered, we’ll take care of that too. We even carry special insurance for transporting pets.  

But that’s not all… Special Care Boarding goes a step beyond with Extra Special Care! Dogs that may have a problem with the concept of doing their business on a concrete run have the option of receiving on-leash walking. Dogs really love the extra attention that it provides. Extra Special Care Dog Boarding also provides basic on-leash dog obedience training for puppies and dogs and supports good house training habits.

For your convenience, we are open daily from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Subject to availability, for a small fee pets can be dropped-off or picked-up outside regular hours when prearranged by appointment only.
